Well, I love this film which probably means some of yall will hate it (like some of yall loved Godzilla, Gravity, Life of Pi.) Don't listen to the critics on this one. Movie was piff. Its Rated R for a reason. He was catching bodies left and right. Its very violent. No martial arts. Just straight up shooting and cutting niguhs. From the beginning to the end.
Basically Bronsnan working for the CIA. Hes training this new niguh to be an agent and this niguh messes up terribly. So much so that Bronsnan retires. 5 years later he gets recruited by one his CIA boys for a one time mission. Things don't turn out as planned and hes the one that's getting hunted. Slowly they reveal why. And its the niguh he trained that's trying to kill him.
Best part is Bronsnan 'ing the dude (David) he trained. Showing him time and time again he aint on his level. Dude soul had to be burning.
Now the revealing of why they're trying to kill him ain't original. But it don't suck either. I didn't totally figure it out all the reveals before they happened. But it made sense. Its has some few twists.
The main chick in here is real skinny but eye candy if that's your type. She does get annoying and makes dumb decisions. But it's not enough to ruin the film.
Overall I like the villains in this flick. Some are more ruthless then others. There is this one female villain whom they built up but they didn't have her live up to her full potential. There is one scene where a teen rape is shown which is . It ain't graphic where they show anything but you know what's indicated. Like I said, this is def. fits an R-rating. Not a PG-13 like Bourne or 007 latest movie. It's more like 24/Jack Baeur when it gets graphic and he's Psycho Jack. Ending was satisfying and leaves the door open for a part 2. If you wanna see some bodies getting drop and catching you off guard at times check it out. Solid B+ to me.
