yea jake kind of acted like eminem but em couldnt of pulled this off
even though this movie borrows elements from every boxing movie ever made, shyt was entertaining. Jake G does a complete 180 from Nightcrawler, dude is approaching Leo D or DDL status with his range. Won't get an Oscar nom but hes on the road to it. Forrest Whitaker tha gawd puts in his best performance since The Butler. 8.1/10

How are the fights ? 
Run of the mil boxing story but Jake's and Forest's performances were really good and elevate it. Got good once Forest came in. Never thought much of Rachel McAdams looks wise, but she surprisingly looked good here

ya i thought same thing too that he would of lost like how 50 screwed forrest dude out of one when he fought jake in a fight since he said he felt that was the only fight he felt he truly lost
I dont know why they put rito ora's name in the opening credits. She was literally on screen for like a minute

Would have enjoyed it more had I never seen the trailer. The performances were good and it was entertaining overall, but the whole plot is revealed in the trailer which makes the movie predictable when watching it
