Hear it out out yall ... its some jazzy shyt, first time I ever made a beat thatll make me replay that shyt, jazz hip hop beat then I jumped on the MPC Studio to rearrange that sample and drop it on a new flex ...

let me know what you think and give me some ideas to improve on that shyt

Respect any improvements yall got on this, am i right to say the drums ainnt swinging as they should on this?

this is dope. the sequence is real nice, what I would suggest is something dilla-esque dont use a snare or use a soft one so that rhythm just bleeds everywhere, that sax is too nice. I think the kicks and the hats work, soften up the kick or eliminate it all together, i dont know what would sound good in its place, like a woodblock or, tamborine, bongos/hand drum something.....

that breakdown is nasty....

them claps sound like thunder on a quiet rainy night by the sea...

Dope. them horns is like the boat going thru hardships and the singing the clamors of the crew.

:leon: I don't make beats but I'd probably soften that snare a little bit on the first half

Incredible work of art. Absolutely incredible.

What VST/samples did you use to make this?
Thanks bro, its french jazz group I found mass downloading soul songs, imma post this up once I find it again

No VSTs used really, the only thing I added afterwards on FL Studio was the bassline and just EQd it all down .... copping a keyboard with a pitch bend is the best shyt I ever did in terms of making m basslines

Props man ! Yeah I defo hear what ur saying, the drums sound kinda hard for the vibe of the song ... As Sauce Dab mentioned the snare is a little loud on this .... I could hear a bongo working on this
