And damn that was one smoove ass nikka!

Now I see why everybody say Ross done jacked his swag and why Ny'ers say he was better than Pac (although I don't agree). I mean, I've heard some of Biggie's major classics before but I've never really given his albums a "true" listen (nikka's down South wasn't bumping Biggie and still don't). But that nicca was lacing them track's man, lol at Ross jacking dude's WHOLE style (although he does it well). I can now give dude his proper respect. nikka was ill as fukk.

Biggie was fukking sick. Two of the main things that keep him from GOAT status though are how quickly his career was over and that whole sheisty shyt he tried to pull with Pac. Tryna to do a victory lap around Cali after Pacs death and rapping on a song about a dead man.

But ready to die and life after death have to be some the smoothest rhymes ever. Your hear him rap and your like I can do that. Then you try and fail completely. This dude BIG made it sound easy.

yeah Life After Death dont get enough love, people also quick to label it either classic or not instead of enjoying the music

the last three tracks of disc 2 are a crazy trio (my downfall, long kiss, your nobody)

but I dont agree with the Rick Ross characterization...only thing they got in common is being fat & coke raps

^^^ Yeah I don't get why Ross is compared to Big. The flows are different, The beats are different, and Big wasn't a boss like that anyway. fukk diddy's dikkriding

Nah man...listening to Big album just now, I can see where Ross got his WHOLE aura from and I'm not mad at it because Big made some smooth-ass shyt no one else in the game was making. I mean the samples he was using in the the production alone was crazy. Honestly, Big doesn't even remind me of the "classic" New York artist because dude rapped over some sultry-ass beats and kinda had a laid back non-technical flow. He didn't have that typical boom-bap, multiple metaphor type style (not that there's anything wrong with it) NY is known for.

Also, when people compare Ross to Big, I thing it's based mostly on production choice and the laid-back flow.

Comparing Rick Ross to Biggie is a disgrace.

Anyway, even though Biggie wasn't as intricate as Nas, Rae, and them, he had sick wordplays and classic verses for days.

Do anyone know if Can't Stop The Reign was Big's last song?
