Just got the Halo 1 remake for $15 at K-Mart

It's supposed to be $35 but the ad has a typo that has $14.99 right under it and they honored that price. For $15 why not buy it?

There is no multiplayer in the Halo 1 remake, only single player and you get a few map remakes for Halo: Reach.

I never copped it for that reason. I can play Halo 1 anytime I want, i'm not dropping bread for a prettier version of the campaign.

No actually it's smart business. Why would they release a remake of an older Halo game with multiplayer to conflict with their most recent title (Reach)?

it's the same reason why COD games from Treyarch and Infinity Ward are released a year a part.

fans have been waiting for a ce remake for 11 years breh!!! me included. they could have made this more than what they did in my opinion

I've not played Anniversary but Halo:CE for Xbox is one of the greatest games ever made....

Most of these shooters STILL fail to match the AI, balance, and overall design of that game. I've always felt that CoD feels amateur in comparison to Halo gameplay. Just a bunch of set piece horseshyt....show me an enemy that is as vicious as a fukking ELITE.

Level 3 (The Silent Cartographer)...it still astonishes me that the entire island can be traversed without cutscenes or any real barriers.

AOTCR/Two Betrayals is the goat missions in this entire generation to me. the amount of fun/adventure/experience in those two missions was

they didn't make this remake 343 did. Bungie is done with Halo. Reach was their last game in the series.

Halo 1 was always the best game out of the 3 IMO i used to replay the entire campaign all the time but i never was into the multiplayer thing much.
