99% of anime is status but AoT actually kept my attention. The only other animes i can tolerate are Fist Of the North Star and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Well to be fair, people who don't even check for anime like that are feeling AoT. Mostly due to the popularity jump it took these last couple of years. A lot of the people aren't gonna wanna get into any of the mainstream/popular anime.

thats wat i mean, ppl who dont follow anime at all are just beyond amazed by this and constantly making threads on it here ....its not even in my top 10 tbh but i can understand ppl going crazy over it

Yeah it's got a different vibe and easier to relate to than from most anime. I could actually see someone coming up with this here in the US and it seeing it blow up.

However it's not in my top 10 either

I used to watch hella anime, then kinda stopped for a whole. AOT is kinda on some new shyt that really appeals to me, espespecially the titans themselves...like that would be some scary fukking shyt if that really went down...and their straight up disturbing and creepy

Yep, I can definitely see AOT getting the whole Battle Royal to Hunger Games type of remake over in the US.
