Incredible progress on Project Dexterity!
Max Titov (@MaxTitovvv) has been pushing the boundaries of human-machine interfaces with this robotic hand project.
Here's what they've achieved so far:
All 4 fingers and the thumb of the Dexhand are moving! The hand now has enough dexterity to pick up objects.
Integrated V2 of the control glove—complete with wrist tracking via IMUs and fingertip haptic feedback using buzzers.
The control glove tracks 16 degrees of freedom using hall effect sensors and magnets, transmitting data wirelessly via Wi-Fi to the robotic hand.
The integration of precise mechanics and advanced sensors is making robotics more capable and responsive. The thoughtful approach, such as aligning the software data flow with the hand’s movements, shows great attention to detail.
Looking forward to seeing how Project Dexterity develops further!
The mechanical design is based on the open source project
