How these mooks managed to survive past 1 week is just...
Examples:
Damn the human race was close to being completely wiped out. Now we are at war and the fate of our entire species hangs in the balance....maybe we should trust the decisions of our chosen leader till we're in the clear and once we're safe we can go back to our traditional government.....NAAAH!! Let's waste time nitpicking and arguing over every decision the president makes.
* Imprisoned Terrorist leads fellow prisoners in taking over ship....plan fails, not only is terrorist NOT executed, he later becomes Vice President then President!
Galactica Mutiny Crew:"Admiral Adama, we're taking over this ship and executing you for working with cylons.
Adama: "Just so you know,when this is over and I get my ship back, there's gonna be a reckoning. NO PARDONS! I will handle you b@stards with EXTREME PREJUDICE!"

Adama: I know I said I was gonna kill you all for that whole taking my ship and trying to kill me thing. And killing some of my men in the process.... I think a little time in the brig will straighten you all out.
