Just finished Walking Dead....

Aside from the first season that show was awful. It's the same scene over and over and over again with no real character development.

I don't understand all the hype that was surrounding this show. People were trying to put it up there with the wire/breaking bad/ sopranos this show is no where close

i think so too, show is very overrated, dont get me wrong it has his moments but i see ppl saying it's better than GOT
The show started off great but it's slowly becoming awful, if they will drag it for a few more seasons it's gonna be SOA status.

season 2 was the best cause the Shane character was the most compelling on the show and you had his conflicts with Rick, Lori, and Dale that were entertaining. once they killed shane that internal force of conflict in the group was taken out and it began to go downhill.

season 3 and 4 were largely terrible. and so has season 5.

the world the show is set in is compelling but the writers have been doing a terrible job in terms of developing compelling characters.

exactly how I feel about the last couple/few seasons.

it had a spark when it started but it fizzled out real quick, I want to stop watching it completely because all I do now is just go through the motions week by week, but If I stop now it'll be a 5 season waste that I put myself through.

It's not up there with the greatest shows but Walking Dead relies on a big budget for good episodes (Gore, Action, Violence etc)

The writers aren't strong enough to carry the show when their episodes can't rely on big budgets....poor character development & progress comes to mind.

The writers really can't get out of they're own way. In truth, I stopped watching when they introduced a fukking baby to the cast, but I just caught back up with the series after marathoning. First 3 episodes were cool, and even the 1st Beth episode was aight, but then.......



shyt, fukk the group at this point, I've been more interested in the villians' and how they got the way that they are. The slow descent into madness and nonchalant cannibalism would make for good TV .


They should've made that side story happen in place of a midseason break, and then go back to the main group. It's justifiable because of the way that they build up Terminus the previous season. Let us see Terminus from it's beginning to it's end
