Mockingjay got too complicated and serious. Really a 17 year old girl is gonna be the leader of a full blown revolution?

read the first book, it was alright.

I started to read the second book, the first two chapters,is katniss trying to make up her mind about witch dude to pick,.. i started to get a feel this shyt was turning into some twilight style romance.. so i quit.

The ending wasn't all that surprising to me because I saw it coming. The only surprising part was what happened to Prim, but when that happened I knew exactly who was behind it. The 3rd one was the worst of the books but will probably be the best of the movies.

why do u feel that way about MJAY?

did u like the ending?
i don't like the way the major characters were handled. Katniss was pathetic in that book and to me Gale was totally out of character as he was supposed to be her best friend and ride with her and that bit at the very end really disappointed me. it doesn't feel like any real work was put into how the book ended. the character that got offed seemed like they just got forced in there for shock value.

:heh: Joan of Arc. She was an overblown hype man who got thrown in the bushes.

:wtf:

Uh....I dunno if you're trying to be funny or grossly ignorant of history. She won several battles during the 100 Years War and directly lead to the coronation of King Charles VII.

Not to mention she backed down an entire English garrison by herself.

Also her win over the English at Orléans is considered one of the 15 most decisive military battles in history:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fifteen_Decisive_Battles_of_the_World

She was crazy but she was the real deal when it came to warfare.

:birdman: the last was book was garbage. It's like the author ran out of creative ideas to move the story along, so she just decided to shyt on all her own characters. There was no balance in the last book... just a bunch of ignorant (and predictable) plot twist to come out with the most negative outcome possible.

:lolbron: Am I the only one that thinks Suzanne Collins is legitimately fukked up in the head?
