Just cracked my cellphone screen. Anyone got the hookup on a DIY repair kit?

If the touch-screen didn't work, I'd do just that. But it's only the glass that's cracked, which means the display piece doesn't need to be replaced, and that's what they'll do if I get it repaired.

I'm not paying 100 bucks for a tiny piece of glass. :what:

go to a window in your home you dont really look out of that much...measure a piece of the glass thats the size of your screen and mark it with a sharpy....carefully cut out the glass...glue it to your phone and take the old cracked glass and put it back in the window. basically a switch off and since the glass on the window is now already cracked the cracked phone glass will blend in perfectly with it.

just my 2 sense

same thing happened to me...i ordered a replacement screen from amazon...and there are youtube videos explaining how to replace your screen.

It is a lot of work judging by the videos, but it requires more effort than skill.
