Get a 128 or 256 GB micro SD card
There are a lot Free 2 Play games that don't require you to buy anything but they take up a lot of storage space so you need a large sd card to store them on.
If Fornite, Brawlhalla, or Rocket League don't keep him busy then get either of the following.

Minecraft
