I noticed jurassic 5 are never brought up here, how come?

For me their EP is a personal classic.

I've searched their name in the forum and mostly found a thread saying how corny and trash they were

Idk... Chali 2na has one of the GOAT rap voices.

Are there any J5 fans here?

I was a big fan during the 2000's.
Great harmonizing group with dope hooks and beats.
They brought back positivity in the 2000's Hip-Hop kinda like the 80s.

I would say they are my favorite underground rapgroup from that time.

I'm a fan though I'd be lying if I said I followed them like I used to 15-20yrs ago.

I've seen them live a couple of times, most recently about 5 years ago in Philly. Had a chance to flick it up and build with Chali 2na.

But they were putting out some heat around 99, 2000 era when they were killing it on the Wake Up Show and getting plenty of MTV love.

From the EP to Power In Numbers I was fukking with everything. Once they drioped that single with Dave Matthew's Band I was out.

Saw them live a few years back and they've still got it, chemistry, harmony, back and forth with the bars.

I still play their old shyt occasionally, good music when the kids are round.
