Judge grants Apple injunction against Galaxy Nexus

Apple first asked for an injunction on US sales of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus devices back in February, and the court has now ruled, granting the motion and imposing a ban.

Apple's motion alleged that the Nexus devices infringed four of its patents: US Patent Nos. 5,946,647 (actionable linking), 8,086,604 (multi-source searching), 8,046,721 and US Patent No. 8,074,172.

Damn, an injunction against Google's flagship Android phone? What really sucks about it is Google just dropped the price on the unlocked models to $349 on Wednesday.

I was going to return mine (I like it enough, but I wasn't satisfied with the battery life), but I think I'll hold on to it, order the extended battery and given it another try. I might return it and not be able to buy it again

Can someone explain how this "multi-source " differs from what was available on the OG droid? And what "actionable linking" is?

I just don't see how you ban one Android device and not them all (and other OS's too, for that matter)
