I forget who it was but somebody brought out how guys today dont actually know how to be heels. Jericho should know better because he’s from the old school. A heel is not supposed to do ANYTHING he sees the crowd enjoying. Guys today want to be “cool” to the fans.

Guys like Owens, Miz, Omega, Miro, Joe etc would come out to cheers but they were still heels and didnt ruin their characters at least imo
Naito would get cheered all the time and he was most definitely a heel but i'd say he's moreso a tweener nowadays like the rest of LIJ

Flair, nWo and OG DX(HBK, HHH, Chyna, Rude) are the only guys off the top of my head that I can think of that ever pulled off being an effective heel while still getting cheered
