There was a graphic on Twitter this week that showed that Jalen Hurts has 15 rushing touchdowns this season.
But 11 of them were 1 yard runs.
That's not really indicative of a dual threat QB in my mind.
He's just "vulture-ing" TD opportunities that would have traditionally gone to a RB.

Because while touchdowns are important, they're situational and high variance. One year a guy can rush for 10 touchdowns, the next year it could be 3.
Lamar Jackson has 786 rushing yards this season -- that's 18th in the NFL -- more than Chuba Hubbard. More than Kenneth Walker.
Those rushing yards get you 1st downs and extend drives. That leads to winning football.
The touchdown itself is just the topper for all the work it took to get to the goal line.
Josh Allen rushing for 413 yards and 13 rushing TD isn't the same as Michael Vick rushing for 1,039 yards and 2 rushing TD.
Vick's 2006 season...or skill set depending on how you want to frame the point, was far more impactful from an individual standpoint.

more impactful how? in 2006 the Atlanta falcons had a 7-9 W/L recorded finished 3rd in their division and they had 25 ranked scoring offense they had the 27 ranked redzone offense ... vick and the falcons rb's had a combined 9 rushing td's on the season Josh Allen has 13 td's and counting leading the 6th ranked scoring offense and number 1 redzone offense

(Vick) leading a bottom forth of the league offense in almost every major category points scored, 3rd down conversion rate. redzone TD %, is more impactful
