Josephine Baker (1991 film starring Lynn Whitfield as Josephine Baker)

Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999 film starring Halle Berry as Dorothy Dandridge)

What's Love Got To Do With It (1993 film starring Angela Bassett as Tina Turner)

All three women had extremely tragic, abusive lives (*trigger warning: rape), with failed love and racism showing that the grass is never always greener for a Black woman with fame & fortune. With Josephine and Dorothy, motherhood ( lack thereof ) was a touching and significant theme.

Btw the What's Love Got To Do With it youtube's quality is crap. But for some reason there's no good copies of that on youtube. I still believe that may be the most viewed of these three, so you've mostly like seen it. I included it for reference.
