The ironic (or hypocritical, really) thing is when a player DOES follow the blueprint of another he gets shytted on for that as well, i.e. Kobe/Jordan.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't. And it's because most of these analysts/writers/media types are negative people anyway who are just looking for a way to shyt on the athletes that came after the athletes they worshipped when they were kids. We'll see it in fifteen years or so with our generation, when there's some new great player who is doing things differently and this generation will be complaining about how he isn't like LeBron or he is too much like Durant or some trivial shyt.
