Dana didn't play around with this one. Still, I have to wonder why stack it this thorough? Why now considering so many wastes of PPVs? Was the criticism of their PPV undercards becoming too overwelming?

Probably a safety valve for the inevitable Weidman injury :lolbron:

Of course Jones missed some PPVs to injuries too :lupe:

Can't get hyped till after weigh-ins :sadbron:

I think they're trying to take away attention from the recent PED issues.

Makes sense, still, considering a known PED user is being featured in the form of Belfort, and Jones who recently test positive for Coke, not to mention questionable Testosterone levels, one has to wonder if they didn't inadvertently bring attention to testing for both illicit and PEDs.

Basically they have to get Weidman/Belfort on a card fast since Chris hasn't defended since last July and Belfort is almost 40. You can't have those guys sit any longer and tie up the division. If anything, they should have Belfort/Weidman on 186 in Montreal but they don't trust that fight as a headliner since its been cancelled twice. So they put it on this card so just in case its scrapped again, another strong headliner in Rumble/Jones is there to save it
