UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones spectatedUFC 198 this past weekend very closely as he had bets with his brother, NFL player Art Jones, and Jackson-Wink coach Brandon Gibson on several of the fights. According to Jones, it was a rather rough night in the betting department for him, and he ended up forking over a total of $2,500 to his brother and coach.

After the interim champion picked Nate Marquardt to defeat Thiago Santos, Vitor Belfort to defeat Ronaldo Souza and Fabricio Werdum to defeat Stipe Miocic, he blamed USADA's drug testing policy, which went into effect last summer, for the losses.

UFC 198 went down from Curitiba, Brazil this past Saturday, May 14 and featured Brazilian legends including Belfort and Mauricio Rua, along with the debut of Cris Cyborg and of course a heavyweight championship bout between the new titleholder Miocic and Werdum.

Jones looks to capture the undisputed belt from Daniel Cormier in a rematch at UFC 200 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 9. Cormier vs. Jones II serves as the main event of the landmark card.

But the effects of USADA was evident in vitor and nate long before 198, anyone that bet on them is a damn fool. Werdum was a surprise but that is only on paper, when he showed up to the fight he looked soft as fuk and fought sloppily
