My nikka just say you don’t like the west coast. When’s the last time the east had a big artist running the charts since Nicki Minaj? I wont add Cardi to the list since she hasn’t dropped an album in damn near a decade. The east has lost its identity from being the Mecca of hip hop it once was. If it wasn’t for the legacy acts keeping it alive to some degree it would be completely washed.

NY has Cardi, Nicki, A boogie, Rocky, Lil Tjay, Tecca, Pop Smoke putting big #’s up in the last decade. On top of OG’s, the Neo boom bap scene, and the Drill scene. Nobody from NY dropped this year except Cash Cobain and some underground rappers.
I’m not even going to act like it’s an objective convo nikkas been NY haters on here.

A boogie, Lil Tjay, lil tecca have not surpassed Nicki and Cardi had a possibility but she hasn’t dropped. Pop smoke had great potential but he went too soon. All the nikkaz you listed are all flash in the pan and haven’t put New York on the map for music. Half them nikkaz sound heavily influenced southern artists if anything. Nicki is the only one who’s really kept that east coast influence and has influenced every chick in the game now including Cardi B.
This is no west coast dikk riding we all know the south and Drake been running hip hop for a minute and the east coast was riding that wave instead of doing what they are known for. I don’t know why nikkaz are mad that the west got it right now with hip hop.
