Thought this was interesting.....Here is a short clip from Joe Rogan talking about how much influence Fox tried to pull over UFCs presentation and commentary and that's UFC, who has way more clout than synchronized, Carnie stunts, gives a little insight on how Kevin DONEs bland presentation might be thrown in the bushes :blessed:

UFC had no leverage in that deal brah. Fox wanted rule changes when cards were on Big Fox, UFC agreed to them but stuff with the commissions prevented it. They were more than willing to change shyt to appease Fox at every turn.

Was expecting more from this clip. Basically 4 minutes of rambling and explaining the same thing over and over

That said now I am interested in how much control FOX will have and whether or not they do reshape the WWE product

From the history of things the TV Network always has their 2 cents they can put in and will fight for. USA used to want to approve scripts for Raw back in the day

They probably see how bad ESPN is doing and if you had to choose between network or cable you'll always pick network.

Yet they are in the process of signing a big deal with ESPN lol. Fox is the one that got fukked in the UFC deal, what a waste of money for them. Then again, they're paying a billion for SMACKDOWN so :mjlol:

I'm almost 100% positive that the Fox deal was the idea of Lorenzo specifically to inflate the "value" of the company because he knew they were selling it off a while before it was announced. All Fox really got out of the deal was a lot of shytty TV cards no one watched, but I guess filling up a cable sports network for 12 hours a day every other week is worth something to someone somewhere. UFC was really worth about half of what they sold for, and WME is having a real hard time making a return on their inflated investment.

How is Fox getting fukked in the deal? They never budged from their stance and UFC isn't going to ESPN of old, they're are going to a network that continues to have massive layoffs and falling ratings. The WWE is actually doing good financial numbers but that doesn't fit in with the whole "WWE is dying" narrative people want to use on here:russ:
