Yup...standard fox operating procedure. If they have a black guest or contributer who is not some cartoonish, anti-black c00n, then the host is going to make sure he or she puts said guest "in his place". What a tastelessly racist comment to make. No class.

EDIT: When I saw the screenshot of Dr. Hart appearing on Stossel, I knew that stossel was going to say something offensive or demeaning. I figured it was going to be more subtle of a racist jab, and positioned towards the middle or the end. He didnt wait one second, and said something blatantly offensive to the Doctor. Just pathetic.

I was listening to this on the way in and wow...just wow. Good info...
It does worry me how someone COULD take some of these interviews...particularly kids. I've never told my kids one hit and you're hooked for life but i've always made the argument that one hit makes the next one 100x easier; now i know several family members who have been strung out on that shyt and sure they have their stuff together now but there were stretches of their life that took a needless detour.

So on the one hand there's the "fear tactic" which clearly doesn't work for all occasions, on the other hand given the utter shyt education a lot of kids are given is it the best road to go down giving them the "truth" and quite literally them not being able to "handle" or discern the real truth that sure, one hit wont hook you, but it's still not the best possible scenario.

Personally I have always been able to point to cousin such and such or uncle so and so for proof as to why you want to stay away from drugs, and it's worked...so literally i'm torn between anecdotal evidence that works vs the truth and it's many potential pitfalls

I think Stossel was playing to a certain segment of the population, i.e., reinforcing stereotypes, which I thought was inappropriate. I couldn't express my level of frustration at the time of the interview due to time constraints.
