I'm a Bernie Bro and I sort of see the writing on the wall. For all intents and purposes, Joe is the presumptive nominee.

Joe has the institutional support, he has the Joe-Mentum, and the money will be pouring into his coffers.

So, similar to Bernie, we have a 77 year old who will need a younger Veep. And this person would be under the bright lights more often than a regular VP.

We had two great candidates and all it took was some calls from Obama and a 100 million dollar equivalent media blitz in one news cycle to give us this guy

Dunno man. If Andrew Gillum was more than a former mayor he'd be the clear choice to me. When I think about someone they might pick thinking it's smart, but in reality it's stupid...I think of Beto and Harris. I have a feeling one of them will be picked.

Val Demings makes the most sense politically. On the low Florida makes really good black politicians. It would also ensure black turnout. If Biden is smart he should adopt Liz policies and let it be known she can have any cabinet position she wants.

Julian Castro might be a decent VP pick for Biden - he's young and firey, latino, and while not fully part of the progressive movement thanks to various purity tests, he is to the left of Biden, had some good talking points that should resonate with young black voters, and has the mouth piece to cover for Biden, shred Pence and go toe to toe with Haley. I'm fine without a woman on the ticket, but I might be the minority, but I don't know what young woman checks all the boxes he checks where Biden is weak.
optics wise, Kamala looks good, but her run exposed her something serious and she didn't catch on with any critical demographic. other than symbolic feminism, I just don't see how she does anything near what Castro could do for him.

women didn't vote for the damn female candidates, so no offense, fukk pandering to them (us) if it's not what will consolidate wider support for biden.

They are trying to hem Gillum up on false charges in Florida over Hamilton tickets. I think it’s a hit to make it impossible for him to run for governor again. Especially cause I doubt Russia will be able to cheat like they did for Desantis. Regardless it makes it impossible for him to be the VP cause Biden is gonna have to deal with the Ukraine fukkery l
