I got two interviews lined up for tomorrow, but browsing Craigslist is

All of these unpaid internships

So many jobs that require 3-5 years of experience when I'm just trying to get EXPERIENCE


So many scam jobs with misleading titles


Jobs that are listed as "PR/Marketing Opportunities" that in reality are just jobs passing out flyers or holding up a "STORE CLOSING! EVERYTHING MUST GO!" sign for 6 hours on W. 44th and 7th.

Word to the wise...stop browsing craigslist. Indeed and glassdoor are your friends.

3-5 years experience is relative...even if it says required, i guarantee...its not required.

The one tedious thing you will have to learn, redo your cover letter and resume for EVERY single job you apply for using words and experiences that they use in the job description.

its part of my benefits scheme. they put me in a job for 8 weeks without pay and if I refuse to do it, they take away my benefits.

i wouldn't say stop browsing craigslist cause a lot of businesses looking for people use that, only thing i'd say is once you find a potential job just keep harassing the shyt out of them until they either give you an interview or blow you off completely. Indeed is a pretty good website to like ol buddy said

I got a job at a grocery store as a store manager with just a bachelor's degree in business at the time. Now I rock an MBA while working in my field.
