he milking this "diss" just drop it already so mase can eviscerate him on oracle 3 :noah:

I honestly don’t think Mase would respond. Their shyt seems like it’s deeper than rap. Word to that hot 97 call. Cam has always just been trolling Mase. Jim tho got genuine hate for him. So while Cam and Jim would probably never go off wax, can’t say the same about Jim and Mase :francis:

So all the jokes about Jim dudes can’t have it both ways . ‘Jim still stuck in the streets, he immature’. Well, yea. :heh: So it’s best Mase just stay out of all that

Can’t believe I’m saying this but between this and the new music. …Jim is winning this :picard:

Also I think the elephant in the room is it just doesn’t make sense to discount Jim when he was by your side for 20 years. Plus 1) The BMF story looks crazy bc everyone confirmed BMF gained respect for Jim after, and 2) The Maino story looks crazy bc Maino dissed YOU, and Jim took up for it

Still love Cam pause and of course he’s gonna be funny with it but nah. Jimmy is low key gettin off here

most instances, yes, but given what has gone on over the past few weeks?..... This is done with insidious intentions...
This is a new NYC freestyle platform hanging mic style in front of Bloodshed mural…Cam was just promoting it

Also those Cam freestyles gassed up voice hoarse no flow no conviction :russell:

It’s a brilliant move. Im pretty sure Jim and bloodshed was cool and had no beef whatsoever

So if nothing else it points out Cam’s contradiction. Revoking the Harlem pass and painting Jim as a hanger on just doesn’t make sense.

It’s also not a first for Cam or Harlem nggas. Cam was cool with Big L’s killer and went to his funeral. Mase spoke on L trying to rob him. :gucci: Cam grew up in the same building with Max B, etc

Cams problem is his voice has gone to shyt. The flow and wit is still there, but he sounds bad

The ‘Jim > cam’ discussion been goin on way before any voice change. It’s pretty simple, Jim takes it more seriously :manny: Makes more serious content

I was re-listening to ‘I’m Ready’ and even on there Jim’s style and content stands out for how mature it is. Cam was winning on charm and wit and humor. We were kinda conditioned to value Cam’s type of bars more.

Cam:
What up buzzing, buzzing? Birds, flip a dozen dozen
Holla at your boy, boy you thought your cousin wasn't

Jim:

Cause the game we done held back too long
The pain we done felt that too long
Cocaine, we done dealt that too long
And my pops it don't help that you gone
Myself should move on

All the signs were there. Jim has always made quasi
‘spiritual’ type music and he never stopped. And nggas fw it

Harlem via Brooklyn
Cam sounds like he has awake apnea when he talks and Jim sounds like he’s got a deviated septum and suffers from and indefinite sinus infection.

NYC needs a new movement in the worse way.

It's scary and I'm gonna need help (yep!)
Streets fluster me
Dogs, marijuana don't help (NO!)
Fiends, junkies in the corner don't help
Knee deep in my grave on these blocks
I'm a goner myself, but...

:whew:

Not gonna front like I was a huge Jones fan but a good verse is a good verse
