A lot of nikkas hated on this album because he ain't have no DJ Premier beats and because Jeru produced the whole album himself, but the shyt was solid.

it'd been years since i listened to this album but while i was out driving yesterday, i put the album and just let it play from start to finish.

it was better than i remembered.

when you judge it based off of The Sun Rises in The East and Wrath of the Math, yeah.

but judge off it's own merits, it ain't THAT bad, especially compared to today's era of music :pachaha:
Bruh I sat with that album back then. I was like no way this is a weed plate. I approached it from every angle. It was thoroughly ass. But I'm a production head so I could be bias.

In those days we didn't get frequent releases so I would disect everything before tossing it away. Even years later I tried again and NOPE.

I did too, and i didn't care for it at all outside of 99.9% and Great Solar Stance but listening back to it yesterday it won't half bad.

im judging the album solely on it's own merit and with a new set of ears years later now. and obviously it sounds like shyt compared to Wrath and The Sun Rises....

but again, we now 25 years removed from the era it came out it and Hip Hop/Rap music as a whole is in the complete gutter now, so a lot of subpar or weak shyt from otherwise great artist now sounds like fukking Illmatic compared to the weak watered bullshyt we have today

i had this album on cassette, bruh.
