Chris Hayes either needs to go back to weekends where no one watched or they need to overhaul his show into something more like the Cycle where he is one of a crew of co-hosts because he cannot carry a show on his own. He is TV death.

The only possible option would be Current TV. No major media conglomerate would ever give someone like him, or Michael Hastings or Glenn Greenwald a show because they all care too much about access and not upsetting the establishment status quo.

I don't think Scahill would do well or even want a TV show pundit job though. He's a purist when it comes to investigative journalism.

Jeff zucker, or whatever his name is, has been moving cnn towards soft news and info-tainment. And its working. They're done being a hard news, serious network at least for the forseeable future.

Its not really working though; they had a brief uptick when the changes first started rolling out but the network has gone back to tanking again. The net ended May with its ratings hitting a 20 year low.
