Cadillac is going to be significantly nicer, but more expensive. The Grand Cherokee is nice in the non-base models (Laredo is base) trims and easier to park and maneuver. I'd recommend the V8 as the V6 can be sluggish at times. I have a current generation Grand Cherokee and have owned a previous generation Tahoe. Overall, I prefer the Jeep.

Driven both extensively I'm taking the Grand Cherokee as I think it's better at basically everything other than looking like a land tank.

The turn radius on the Escalade is repulsive to me although maybe if I got used to it instead of switching rentals all the time I would feel different
