Why wasn't Gambit in any of the x-men movies? (Besides that one bar fight) one of the best x-men. When I was a young player, used to get mad when he wouldn't smash Rogue :shaq:

if you could combine the 90s art with the 80s stories, you would have the GOAT comic book.

This is how the MCU needs to approach X-men. My inner stan wants everything catered to the 80s books but realistically they need a wider audience than just nerds like me.

They should follow the Claremont stories of the 70s and 80s to appeal to the OG comicbook fans... but still keep the 90s costumes/aesthetic and include the theme song to appeal to all the 90s babies that came up on the cartoon. (As long as Nightcrawler is part of the team and they put some respect on Cyclops, I'm good.)

That's why the original Ninja Turtles was such a GOAT-tier comicbook movie. It kept the humor and the elements from the cartoon that worked (like the colored headbands) while still following the OG comic storylines and staying mostly true to the grit and the realness of the comicbooks.
