***** PLATINUM *****
--John Layfield (JBL) was unable to reach the summit of Mount Elbris in Russia today. He had to give up the climb at about 17,000 feet, some 1,500 from the summit due to hypoxia (frost bite) in his fingers, after about seven straight hours of climbing, and a combination of the doctor urging him not to continue and an impending storm. He called it the most disappointing day of his entire life as he had vowed to climb the highest summit in seven different continents to raise money for underprivileged children in Bermuda. Layfield was not an experienced mountain climber going into this. You have to give him all the credit in the world for at least giving it the best try possible.
