It's strange how he's always portrayed as a dude with a single mom who struggled and had no help from dad. Or maybe pops was only there for basketball and he has/had some type of resentment. cause when tatum tells his story most of the time, he only talks about his mom and how they struggled.

Cause that’s what it was from what I understand

His mom had to do it alone while his dad was playing overseas. And his dad was more of a drill sergeant type coach towards him which complicated their relationship

ESPN started doing that BS in 2018 when he was rookie and the Celtics were making that Eastern Conf Finals run. I remember watching videos of him and his Father beforehand confused as hell while the ESPN acted like he didn't have an active father

His father was literally in St Louis with Tatum working as a HS coach. ESPN was wrong for that, they love that "Black dude single mom" storyline for some reason

Yep

Even worse he got that commercial about how his mom did everything for him acting he ain't have a dad when it was his professional basketball playing dad that made him into the highest paid professional basketball player he is today.

Dude is a cornball who's being used as a pawn in the "Black man raised by a strong single mom" agenda and he's to corny to realize it.

just listen to this shyt

Keep in mind his DAD literally drilled him into being a NBA player but not a mention or word. Convince me thats not an agenda please do

Tatum comes across as a bytch.

He won't acknowledge it, but his father's discipline had a large part in why he is were he is at

My father was in the Marines, he was a hard ass but that shyt built ne up right
Could this be why he’s currently the most hated player in the league

Despite winning a championship and being top 10 I see him getting made fun of more than any star player
