He woulda had Oscars to his name by now. He woulda left this rap shyt alone.
Oscars is Stretch :heh: You know how many talented black actors have zero?:heh:

I doubt he’d stop rapping he just woulda been surpassed by other rappers

For example there is no rapper who was more popular than Jay Z in 1996 who is bigger than him right now. He cleared 99% of them by 98

This is stan fiction. And no living rapper was anywhere close to as popular in 1996 as Pac was so the last example is irrelevant

It’s not irelavant. What rapper who peaked in popularity in 1996 was still popping like that 10 years later?

You think Tupac was gonna be MORE popular in 2006 than he was In 1996 :heh: What about 2013?:heh:. He going 3x time plat in 2013? Of course not and that’s ok

:what:

You don’t address dead nggas period. That doesn’t make it even.

Also, that ‘bumpin Makaveli’ was a different version. The version I posted was updated and more vulgar/direct

I also ‘left out’ all sauce moneys lines…’automatic rhyme spot 4 shot towards his attic’…’i heard his body was too hot to get near it, too late to hear it, two slugs wait to release his spirit

Again, fan fiction because you using artists that ain't have close to the cultural standing and international connection to the audience that Pac did to speculate how he would have done

If we doing fan fiction I think Pac would have been writing and directing movies by 2006. But in fan fiction world, if Pac "retired" from music in 2002 or 2003 and then did a comeback album in 2006 yeah it would have been an event and sold a lot

My “speculation” is every artist who peaked in the 1990’s wasn’t nearly as popular 15-20 years later sales wise. 99% were washed, and it’s not just rap.

Being the biggest rapper in 1996 doesn’t mean shyt 10 or 20 years later :mjlol:

For the record it’s the same for any genre. Alan Morrissette was a phenom in 1995-1996(I think her album sold like 30 million copies or some shyt) where they fukk is she selling now :mjlol:

I read what u wrote wrong but either way what u said is still false cause it removes all context to what set the stage for Jay to be as popular in the first place. Also Jay was never the most popular. He was just the most consistently popular. Jay ain’t even popular for his music at this point. And a rapper who was around selling records when Jay was popular and is more popular than him right now is Will Smith. Which is the type of shyt I believe Pac would be on. Son was writing scripts that became hit movies after his death. Such as Baby Boy. Let alone his acting.
