Jay Electronica, said to have had an affair with the millionaire green investors wife Kate, warned his love rival on Twitter that he would come see him.
In his first direct comments on the high-profile split, he told Mr Goldsmith that he must stop giving stories to the media that were untrue.
And the New Orleans-born musician suggested that if he told his own side of the story, Mr Goldsmith would regret it.
However Mr Goldsmith is believed to be bemused by the messages and is not expected to respond.
Electronica wrote on Friday evening, in a message written on his mobile phone specifically to Mr Goldsmiths account but publicly visible: ben you need to stop going to the press w these b------- stories. Dont be a f------ hypocrite. I'll come see you [all sic]

The provocative messages, which were later deleted, risk re-igniting the public feud between Mr Goldsmith, 31, and his estranged wife, 29, that took place earlier this month.
Mr Goldsmith, the youngest son of the billionaire financier Sir Goldsmith, had known his wife, an heir to the Rothschild banking fortune, since they were teenagers and the couple married in 2003.
But it emerged at the start of June that their relationship had gone through a rocky patch earlier this year and that Mrs Goldsmith, who runs a small record label, had had a fling with Electronica.
The couple then had a showdown at their £20million Kensington home, during which Mr Goldsmith slapped his wife and kicked a toy at her, later accepting a police caution for assault.
After he escaped on holiday to Sicily with their three children, details of the break-up appeared in the press, prompting an angry response from Mrs Goldsmith.
She hired a PR firm to issue a statement declaring that false and inaccurate information had been given to the media in a deliberate attempt to damage Kate and her businesses.
Over the following days, the couple made a series of pointed comments on their Twitter accounts, with Mr Goldsmith saying it was a bit late for his wife to fix her reputation.
Late one night she posted a series of messages, most of which were later deleted, describing how she was going through the darkest time of my wife and that although she loved her brilliant and incredible husband, relationships go wrong and ours did.
At the end of what friends admitted was a very emotional week, the couple called a truce in a joint statement.
They said they would concentrate on their children, as preparations were made for them to divorce. Since then both parties have made only occasional and enigmatic comments online.
Mrs Goldsmith, who reverted to her maiden name on Twitter, tweeted and just like that..... on Wednesday.
On Thursday she responded to a message from Nicky Hilton, an American reality TV star, by saying A LOT has happened since you were here.
Meanwhile Mr Goldsmith wrote on Twitter on Tuesday: The literal translation of the word MORTGAGE, from the French, is GRIP OF DEATH.
Electronica lives in London but was in America attending his grandmothers funeral when details of the marriage break-up emerged and has since then kept a low profile.
The critically acclaimed rapper, who has 235,000 followers on Twitter, had last year used the website to praise Mr Goldsmith for the film he produced about the West Indies cricket team.
A spokesman for Mr Goldsmith said that since the joint statement made with his wife, he had kept to the agreement not to make any more comments about their private life.
Family friends said they were baffled by the bizarre claims made by Electronica, and expected Mr Goldsmith to brush them off as he tries to get on with his life.
