Before I hit play on this I'm wondering how much the production will have to lend to the work of Dam-Funk for me to appreciate it
His rapping is kind of at entourage/back-up group level, with a few flashes in the pan here in there
I derive no joy from being so critical and I have aversions to speaking under such context
His background story is cool from what I've seen posted here
Edit: ahhh this is the guy who did the album with DJ Quik, not the guy who did the album with Dam-Funk .... Case of mistaken identity, all previous statement retracted
From what I'm hearing he'd be an ideal collaborator of one of my favorite west coast artists, Larry June
