So Jared Leto is everywhere these days. Doing the press rounds for “Suicide Squad” he’s suggested that he doesn’t love the David Ayer-directed movie, he’s lamenting the fact that many Joker scenes were cut out of the movie, but here’s the kicker: he hasn’t seen the film yet. Jared we urge you to rectify that before you speak on.
Meanwhile, Variety reports that Leto has joined Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner” sequel which stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright and “Walking Dead” star Lennie James so far. Who’s Leto playing? Maybe a Replicant? His role is under wraps so far.
Hampton Fancher and Michael Green wrote the screenplay, but no details have been released. They are keeping this one on lockdown. Cinematographer Roger Deakins is reuniting with Villeneuve for their third collaboration following “Prisoners” and “Sicario.” “Blade Runner” the sequel lands in theaters Oct. 6, 2017
