Jamie Foxx is determined not to slow down his movie career as he continues to recover from a mysterious illness that sidelined him in the hospital for months.
Insiders close to the Ray actor say the 55-year-old is back working harder than ever, despite the fact he's still recovering from an undisclosed medical condition after being admitted to the hospital back in April.
'Jamie is staying focused on his film career as he continues on his road to recovery,' an insider tells DailyMail.com.
And as part of that renewed focus, Foxx currently has a staggering nine films in various stages of production.
The insider adds that Foxx sees staying busy with work as the key to his ongoing recovery.

Earlier in August, the Oscar winner looked as if he was the picture of health when he was spotted playing a game of pickleball with the Olympic volleyball star Casey Patterson.
But now that he has focused on strengthening his body, Foxx can't wait to get back on set to do what he does best.
