and this is the difference between us and damn near everybody else on the planet
we don’t take credit for one’s genre/culture , although our influence is what popped it off
a few months ago, I seen an elderly Puerto Rican man say black American rhythms influence Salsa movement which was huge in the mid 70s



yet when we create something that blows up …. everybody wants crowbar their way in & eat off our plate :camby:

Salsa is basically Cuban and Puerto Rican music combined with jazz and RnB.
