Hellboy Movie Reboot Casts Deadpool 2 Star As the Titular Demon
Jack Kesy will need to find his inner demon as the Deadpool 2 actor joins the cast of Millennium Media's upcoming Hellboy reboot in the lead role.

Millennium Media has found its Hellboy, with Deadpool 2's Jack Kesy cast as the titular demon in the upcoming franchise reboot, Hellboy: The Crooked Man.
"Jack Kesy is a dynamic actor who has the ability to morph into his roles. His talent and
stature are perfect for this younger Hellboy," said Millennium Media co-president Jonathan Yunger in a statement. Kesy previously worked with Millennium Media on the 2020 war film The Outpost. However, he is perhaps best known for playing Black Tom Cassidy in the 2018 film Deadpool 2 as well as his main roles in the television series The Strain and Claws
Hellboy: The Crooked Man was announced in February 2023 by Millennium Media, with production slated to get underway by the end of March. The upcoming film will find Hellboy and a rookie Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense agent stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia. The two will discover a small community haunted by witches and led by The Crooked Man, a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy's past. Hellboy: The Crooked Man is based on the Eisner Award-winning comic of the same name, which debuted in July 2008 to correspond with the theatrical release of Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
