I've never understood why Home Court/Field Advantage is important

Football is the only sport, where I can see it's benefits but in Basketball, Baseball, Hockey and Soccer it shouldn't matter but it does.

It irks me when a team plays like utter garbage on the road and play like world beaters at home.

This mainly in Basketball, team goes 30-11 at home and than go 18-23 on the road and than alternate home wins and road losses in the playoffs

they did a study on home court advantage and the effects on refs calls. It was by a large margin that nba refs made calls that benefitted the home team.

In baseball it matters due to the fact that some parks are more beneficial to some hitters and pitchers than others.

i worked at the scoring table last year at my college

so many times coaches would get mad on some "so much for home court advantage" blah blah

i almost snapped on dude once and was gonna be like ur not suppose dto have a fukking home court advantage u scumbag

no team should be getting calls in their favor that shyt is extremely corny but people really feel like they should be able to cheat and get shyt swung their way just for being at home

In Baseball, no two fields are the same.. who wouldn't want their team to play in a park that's catered towards them?

if you were the Red Sox, would you want to play in a Park that is considerably larger than yours like Minute Maid?
