After spending much time in the clubs here in NYC, I'm bringing it back. I've been hearing way too many good DJs, way too many good tracks, way too many creative people. The summer is coming, the clubs are going to be popping, the festivals are going to be poppin, an I'm tryna get back in this!!!!

My main dillemma is trying to go for a live/Dj routine that encompasses my sound and overall aesthetic.

I figured my productions would be where I would flex my musical muscle an y DJ sets would be for the purpose of people having fun like a school dance...LOL.

yeah, I'm moving to LA - maybe as soon as next Wednesday (gulp) - and was thinking about getting back into DJing. I sold my Gemini 2000s and my CDJs, so I'll need to re-up. Imagine being able to spin three nights a week and clear $750 - $1,000 of tax-free dough? That would be ideal. I'm a night person anyway.

I'm go check out your mixes.

Yeah, the thing is I could do so many types of sets at this point, but it's just figuring out one style.

I like doing influence sets where it's just the stuff I was raised on from the 70s, 80s, and 90s....

But since I do electronica, I pretty much have to focus around that.

The way I was doing it before with serato, I would have my portable HD wiith over 20,000 songs on it and that would be all I need.

I'm trying to get on the TRaktor wave. I prefer timecode vinyl with techs and a mixer. I'm trying to learn CDJs...
