which should I choose?

thats what i was thinking. but i'm kinda afraid of pushing the envelope that far. one of my favorite Nas albums. i think in the introduction i should explain why the album went untitled.

Either Untitled (subject matter, name controversy) or Life After Death (circumstances surrounding the album, with B.I.G.'s death and shyt) are the 2 best choices IMO. Can't really go wrong with either.

you should consider more albums that were seen as "event albums". like GRODT was one, makaveli 7 day theory and how he predicted his death and it was the start to his posthumous discog. we've been having less and less every year though. i'd pick something that 1. has a lot of background besides just the album (either actual event or social circumstances) 2. that you personally feel many different ways about so you can write a better review showcasing more levels of thought

I decided to go with Untitled. i have quotes from Jesse Jackson and al Sharpton and i've listened to the album all morning. i even went as far as talking about the Don Imus incident with the rutgers University girls bball team and the the N word burial. i even mentioned how Jesse Jackson was totally against the album title but recalled him calling Obama a nikka and how he cried like a baby the night of the election. this album is just too fukking deep. my shyt could end up being 5 or 6 pages. i'm gonna have to edit a ton of shyt down.
