there are certain artists who I don't fukk with and certain demographics/subcultures that I know nothing about. so unless I'm genuinely interested in someone putting me on to them I don't go yappin' in threads where either they or their fans are the topic of discussion as if I know wtf I'm talking about.

so why is it so hard for some of ya'll to do the same? hate to break it to some of ya'll but your block/workplace/circle of friends/age group does not equal the definitive barometer of hip hop culture. hip hop culture is huge, consisting of countless subgroups. you and your circle never listen to the radio or a certain type of hip hop music? good for you. but stop acting :mindblown: whenever that artist or subgenre gets some type of shine in spite of the fact that you don't fukk with it. and stop fronting like you're some all-knowing expert on everything that's hot. humble yourselves for one fuckin moment, realize you're out of your element and kim. is that really so hard to do?

I have no problem with someone not liking an artist. the problem I have is when people go the extra mile and act like they have the authority to speak on and make generalizations about artists who they clearly know nothing about. shyt is corny

Ive had to deal with some people in the industry (behind the scenes stuff) and they seem to be the biggest gossipers and shyt talkers and they know less than the average hip hop message board cat.

Then they're not really doing it... the Music Industry is one big ass High School & everybody knows everybody's business. There is nothing hidden inside the industry... if Jay-Z farts nikkaz are gonna know about it inside of 20 minutes...
