Friends had some boring and bland ass writing...jokes were *crickets* status; that's why they used a laugh track

It's not the best sitcom ever and it's probably not even my favorite....but it's BY FAR the one I've watched the most. I've seen every episode countless times.
The show got pretty bad in the last couple seasons, all of the Joey/Rachel nonsense is still incredibly uncomfortable to watch.

My best friend just cannot understand why I was a fan of this show and Seinfeld (I haven't watched it in years, I heard some things about it before the unpleasantness happened). The quirkiness and all the inside jokes, hilarious. Will and Grace was jokes too just behind Karen Walker.
