First of all, I'm not trying to politicize this situation but the piss poor management of the pandemic by Trump and the number of people losing jobs and schooling because of this is making me think that his days in office are numbered. Everyone seems be getting the work by the virus, including his base which much of it contains older people who may be more likely to have underlying issues.

Would be surprised if he makes it in November.

Which was very good. Then this corona hits. State primaries getting postponed.

Win by a landslide? I don't see how the coming 20%+ unemployment, all stock market gains since inauguration being wiped out, and 24% GDP contraction converts more "swing voters" to Trump's side.

The only thing Trump had going for himself to win over swing voters was the stock market and economy, but that's being cratered by a crash bigger than '08. I just don't see how he is winning over voters besides the especially cultish voters who would vote for him no matter what anyway. This massive crash, even if it's not entirely Trump's fault, isn't gonna win him new voters to win in a landslide.

Again, I know his die hards will vote for him in 2020 despite the crash but those die hards were already in his base, I'm saying I don't see how this shyt grows his base.

Will millions of voters who didn't vote Trump in 2016 look at a completely cratered Trump economy and say "you know what, I think I might give this guy a shot in 2020?"
