1st off, I'm not knock anyone just big upping my Dark Skin brothers. Much love to my lighter brothers too. I love you all too. With that said, I'm sure the haters will still flock in.
Our struggle differs from many others. We've taken a lot of hate and discrimination. A lot of us were teased as youngster about being dark, but as we grew older and learn to love and embrace ourselves, the teasing turned into admiration. What a ride. Our skin is so rich and deep in history. Our skin is beautiful and a lot of times flawless. I will admit we can be intimidating, especially when you 6'3 225. I see and hear in the hate in guys faces, but the women. The women! Love a big black man. A real manly man. A warrior.
We're all black warriors in our own way. To make it through this madness in America is a beautiful thing.
