The thought of Bubba Ray Dudley as world champ is kinda crazy, but can't deny the effort he's put into the Bully Ray character. Got into better shape than I can remember him being in and his promo game is decent.
yea but they coulda easily made roode or aries take that role. Roode as leader of aces and 8's woulda been better.

I can't hate on them making Bully the champ. He's really put the work in the last few years. He's in literally in the best shape of his career and made this gimmick into one of the most over characters in TNA. Aries as the leader of Aces would've been cool.
Edge, Christian, Bubba Ray and Jeff Hardy all eventually became world champions.

This is true, especially since those two you mentioned are home grown. IMO the A&8 storyline has gone on a few months too long. The big reveal should have happened at Bound for glory.
Exactly my sentiments. He bust his ass to get in the shape he's in (amazingly he's only 41, I thought he was at least 5-6 years older than that) and put in the effort to warrant a singles title run.
exactly TNA has given the titles to waaaayy shyttier older guys, who clearly don't care and weren't half as meaningful as Bully.
