It Still Baffles Me That The Beatles Are Considered the Greatest Ever Without Any Sense of Rhythm

Ive never met a single soul who considered them to be the greatest ever, white or black.

And they were largely panned for a lack of musicality and substance when they were at their peak. They were even called an abomination to music.

Way more people agree with you than you think OP. Most music people view the beetles as grossly overrated

Yup. So much of it comes from the fact that they were literally the first group to record a "well produced" album by modern standards.

People associate the Beatles with this aura of enlightenment and clarity - thats because their production sounded like it was from 1975 :wow:

But the actual music wasn't nothing special

wierd al yankovic said beatles are the only musicians he would never do a novelty record of because he respects them too much. dude is a dck they have one great song, then when they split it was geroge and john who were the hit makers.

fck weird al, and the beatles - let it be (one of the greatest songs ever).

+BTW, its a song about getting high but i know you know that, garbage record.
