City of Angels :blessed:
or even not a WWE fan at all, who turns on RAW on a Monday and sees an entire arena booing Roman Reigns, while the announcers are screaming about how amazing he is and how he's doing the right thing and he's such a hero :mjlol:

Like, that right there tells you that WWE is basically only booking for die-hards and smarks at this point. If you don't watch the shyt religiously, how do you even rationalize that in your head? Just reading it makes it sound like the dumbest shyt ever. This guy is supposed to be the hero but everyone hates him, except the announcers, who scream over the crowd to tell you how great he is :dahell:

Like it makes no logical sense to any sane person. I don't understand how anyone who doesn't already watch could see something like that, and then go.. "wow, this is interesting, imma keep watching this"

It would be like in a basketball game, if a dude goes 0 for 10 shooting, and Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy proceed to spend 5 minutes waxing poetic about what a great shooter he is. :dwillhuh:

This is how they booked Cena during the beginning of his rocket push.

Fans everywhere booing the hell out of him but they never acknowledged it outside of smark towns where they couldn't ignore the boos. And back then they were catering to the casual viewer heavy, especially 08-09 when the PG push started.

Then in the 2010s they started calling him "polarizing" or saying "love him or hate him, John Cena is the... "blah blah blah y'all know the rest

And that's why Cena isn't anywhere near the GOAT conversation, and probably never will be in my eyes. Hated by far too many people during his career to be up there, it's not like he was a heel either, just shoved down everyone's throats to pad his fake legacy :beli:

If he ain't turned during his feud with The Undertaker he's not turning. As long as his merchandise does well, and it does. He'll continue to be the same character, they don't care what y'all say about him as long as y'all talking about him. People think that's deflection or corporate speak, but how often do people online brag about booing him? People look forward to booing him which means he's part of what they look forward to seeing. Same difference to the WWE.

I don't know breh aren't Brock, Goldberg, Taker basically to reel in the casual fans?... :patrice:
Hell Triple H too?...

None of these guys been on TV since Wrestlemania.

They are catering to smart marks and children, and funny enough both have the same mental acumen :troll:

Ratings are at an all time low, Raw has gone back to the 94 era to when the show was just an infomercial for PPV's(now the network) instead of the attitude era where it was a TV show that you needed to tune in to see storylines progress. Whens the last time they hooked you for a storyline that progressed throughout the show? 15 years ago?

Vince either lost his mind or hes chilling on the network money from the smart marks who watch regardless of how shyt it is.

Casuals turn the shyt off immediately cause nobody gives a fukk about fake fighting if there is nothing to hook them

Thing with Cena was he was making way more money in merch and he never really getting booed at house shows where he was drawing. It just came up on TV so they pretty much just kept him Babyface because there was no reason to fukk the money up with a character change until Punk came along. They still didn't do it but that's another story.

I just bought the WWE Network too :dwillhuh:

Not going to lie

The only reason I got it is so I could revisit the classics. The new shyt is boring and plain to me. Plus I can't stand the announcing team of Cole and JBL they are horrible.
