making a major purchase its kinda nice to have a physical place of contact to instantly do things like swap of defective or deal with if you have any issues or just wanna return it. at least here outside of Best Buy there's mostly nothing. every company you go to even if they have a physical store wants you to buy online.

its like all the big box stores sell mostly cheap shyt in the store and anything worth a damn has to be ordered on the internet.

Or companies releasing digital copies of games only. Here I am trying to find a stand-alone copy of Mass Effect for the PS3, come to find out EA/Bioware didn't make one. :what:

I love Amazon but I would rather have a physical store that i can grab something from. I am impatient and hate waiting even 3-4 days for something to be delivered. Im not about paying $15-20 extra for next day air either :beli:

Amazon Prime gets you your shyt in 2 days for free or the next day if you choose that option for 3.99.

Step your game up.

The only downside to ordering stuff online is the elimination of being instantly gratified but having a delivery show up when you completely forgot about buying it a few days ago kind of makes up of it. Like a mini Xmas. Like right now I can't wait for my new camera to show up from amazon.

Instant gratification is overrated though in this case. Think about it, if u a re hungry...u still have to go get food to be gratified. It's not instant. If u decide at this exact moment, u want to buy a hat...u still have to go to the store, spend gas, train fare or walk to get it. Not instant.

I do know what u mean in the general sense, but I hear this As it relates to online v store on occasion and wonder exactly what instant gratification is being referred to.

I am sometimes a little too impatient. I remember paying an extra $15 just because I didn't want to wait until Monday to get something from Amazon (Even with Prime)

It was a game or something at gamestop. Steam pre-loading ftw :ahh:

It's not that bad until you get your order broken/missing/stolen :beli:

I hate UPS, these fukks are lazy as fukk and never ring the doorbell. They just leave that in the front door. Had a text book stolen. Some CD cases came broken (Most likely by Amazon) and once, it was raining and the dumb fukk left my order outside, the rain went right through the box, shyt was a text book as well :wow:

I do mainly online shopping but physical stores have three main advantages:

1- same day acquisition
2- testing it out

And most important: negotiating ability.

When you are dealing with a human wanting to sell, or a general manager, you can get some great deals sometimes.

Yeah, if you wait until late Thursday or Friday to order something you might not get it til Monday. They have an option for some items that are ordered on Friday for guaranteed Saturday delivery for 8.99

:bryan:

But that's why I usually order things that I really want quickly early in the week. I'll still buy certain things from Best Buy because of the Reward Zone credits that they give you though.
